3D Stroboscopy used in a Clinical Environment

18th May 2019

An Australian first:  3D Stroboscopy used in a clinical environment.

The Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre - Mr. Neil Vallance & Dr. Debbie Phyland.

The Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre is the first practice in Australia to use Xion Medical’s latest technology, 3D Stroboscopy in a clinical environment.

The technology involves the use of a 3D stereoscopic laryngoscope and a 3D camera head to produce a flicker free three-dimensional view of the larynx. The 3D stroboscope uses light produced flashes from the Matrix Spectar Processor and LED light source which are synchronized with the vibration of the vocal cords to create a 3D stroboscopic view.

Xion’s Matrix Spectar Processor is the first adaptive camera processor which enables the operation of 2D, 3D and 4K cameras resulting in the highest image quality.
