We are seeking to engage a Biomedical Engineer to join our dynamic Sydney Service Department. The position will be based in Sydney reporting directly to the VIC Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VIC Service Manager, you will repair Endoscopy & Surgical equipment within set turnaround times and achieve quality levels to meet our current business objectives.
- Carry out Field Service & preventative maintenance on a range of endoscopy equipment in a professional and customer orientated manner.
- Maintain endoscopy products according to factory standards.
- Assess and report on product performance, faults, etc. and making recommendations for improvement.
- Complete repair documentation in a timely manner before and after maintenance and servicing.
The following key competencies and skills will be expected in this role -
- Strong soldering skills and experience
- Mechanical Assembly experience an asset
- Experience with electrical an asset
- Experience in fine detail repairs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Computer Literacy: Competence with basic emails and familiarisation with Excel or other spreadsheet software
Candidates with service experience in Endoscopy, Surgical repairs or Electrical qualifications will be held in high regard.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a very competitive salary and the standard sales tools necessary to perform the role.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 pa depending on experience
